How to write a Construction Project List that gets attention
There are a few keys to making a successful project list.
- The more variety you show, the better. It shows that you are not a one trick pony. If they see a project on your list that is similar to the work that they perform, they will feel better about hiring you.
- The larger the project, the better. If you can run a $12 million project then the company can infer that you can run a $5 million project
- Make sure you tell us which systems you installed (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing etc)
- Remember to tell us what your role was on the project. Were you the project manager? Did you estimate the project as well? Did you design the project?
